PORTLAND, Ore. ( KOIN ) — Police are asking for the public’s help in tracking down a man who allegedly committed a string of armed robberies of cannabis dispensaries in Portland.
Detectives believe the 43-year-old Cory J. Jackson committed five armed robberies in the span of five months in 2023, Portland Police Bureau said in a release. Police released a list of the days and locations of each robbery committed by Jackson, all of which were done at gunpoint:
- April 25, 2023 — a dispensary in the 2500 block of Northwest Nicolai Street.
- June 19, 2023 — a dispensary in the 4500 block of Southeast Cesar Chavez Boulevard.
- June 28, 2023 — a dispensary in the 2000 block of Northeast Sandy Boulevard.
- July 21, 2023 — a dispensary in the 5200 block of Southeast 28th Avenue.
- Sept. 6, 2023 — a dispensary in the 3200 block of Southeast Johnson Creek Boulevard.

Jackson is described as a Caucasian male, 5’10” and 170 lbs. He is said to have multiple tattoos, including one on his knuckles that reads “HOME SICK.” Police said he also frequently uses wigs to change his looks as a method for avoiding getting caught.
