Woman arrested in connection to Centennial Neighborhood kidnapping

A 31-year-old woman has been arrested and faces kidnapping charges in connection to a 5-year-old boy who was abducted last night before being safely recovered by law enforcement.

LeeAnne N. Osborne is being held at the Multnomah County Detention Center for second-degree kidnapping after allegedly taking Tra’Veon Lewis from his home in the Centennial Neighborhood.

The missing child was first reported at 8 p.m. Thursday, May 2, after he disappeared from a home at Southeast 151st Avenue and Southeast Stark Street. Witnesses and security footage showed him being led away by an unknown suspect, later identified as Osborne, at 2:30 p.m.

Portland Police officers began canvassing Southeast Portland looking for the boy. A timeline of sightings was established:

5:30 p.m.: Lewis and Osborne were seen at a gas station near Southeast 148th Avenue and Southeast Stark Street7:25 p.m.: The pair board a TriMet bus and ride to Southeast 174th Avenue and Southeast Powell Boulevard7:53 p.m.: The pair board another bus and ride to 174th and Powell Boulevard8:18 p.m.: The pair are spotted walking near 122nd and Division
