PORTLAND, Ore. ( KOIN ) — We are exactly one week away from the Waterfront Blues Festival. Besides the world-class music, local food and great summer vibes, the event also helps benefit two local charities.
This year, the Blues Fest Cares program is again supporting the Jeremy Wilson Foundation and Meals on Wheels People.
Suzanne Washington, the CEO of Meals on Wheels People, joined AM Extra to tell how the four-day event is an important opportunity for the non-profit, the organization’s mission, the Community Cares raffle happening at Blues Fest and how people can volunteer.
