2 killed in stolen car crash identified as former students at Portland high school

PORTLAND, Ore. (KPTV) – Two people killed in a stolen car crash last week in southeast Portland have been identified as former students at Ida B. Wells High School. The incident happened during the early morning hours on Tuesday, June 25, when Gresham police tried to stop a car at Southeast 159th Avenue and Southeast Division Street. Police say the driver did not stop and ended up crashing into another car and a utility pole at Southeast 139th Avenue and Southeast Division Street.
