OLYMPIA, Wash. – Washington Governor Jay Inslee has issued an emergency proclamation in response to several wildfires burning across the state. Inslee said Washington has seen “abnormally dry weather conditions with periods of exceptionally high temperatures,” which Inslee said creates a high risk for fire conditions in the area.
