Corbett’s strongwoman wins another master’s powerlifting gold medal

A powerlifter from Corbett is going to need some extra training soon just to hoist all these medals she keeps winning.

Donna Clark won gold during the first-ever United States Powerlifting Association’s Iron Built Games Saturday, Sept. 14, in Albany. She won the full power (back squat, bench press, deadlift) for Women’s Drug-Tested Masters 50-54.

That showing earned an invitation to the Rogue Iron Built Invitational next spring in Ashland, Virginia — an event only 80 people across the United States get to compete in.

But first Clark has her sights set on the USPA World’s Powerlifting Competition, which is Nov. 16 at the Golden Nugget Casino in Las Vegas.
