Local organizations come together to fight child trafficking

PORTLAND, Ore. ( KOIN ) — Child trafficking is a worldwide epidemic and studies have shown that a high rate of survivors have been trafficked using public transportation.

Local organizations, including TriMet, are working together to protect children from trafficking and sexual exploitation, through education, legislative advocacy and community engagement.
