PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) – 18 people were detained for public drug use after authorities staged a mission in the Hazelwood neighborhood last week, according to Portland Police. Officers teamed up with the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office Transit Police Division for the mission, which specifically targeted drug dealers, in a few different areas near MAX train stops- on E Burnside St. and NE 122nd Ave., E Burnside St. and NE 148th Ave., and the Gateway Transit Center on NE 99th Ave. and NE Pacific St.
