For Steve Usher and Dan Barkley, co-owners of Covenant Clock Restorations in Beaverton, the upcoming change is more than just an annual chore — it’s a reminder of the unique challenges his family’s business faces every year.
Covenant Clock Restorations, a family-owned business that’s been in operation since 1978, specializes in restoring and repairing clocks ranging from antique timepieces to modern models. The business is currently training its fifth generation to carry on the tradition of horology, or the study and repair of timepieces.
