Oregon Man Sentenced to Life for Grisly Murder and Dismemberment of Girlfriend

Jamon Peter Fritsch was sentenced to life imprisonment for the ‘grisly’ murder and dismemberment of his girlfriend in Oregon City in 2023.

The 48-year-old, sentenced in the Clackamas County Circuit Court on Wednesday, will spend the rest of his life behind bars for the killing of respiratory therapist Kara Rayleen Taylor (49), who was last seen alive on 25 July 2023.

Body Parts Found at a Landfill in Corvallis

Parts of her body were found at the Coffin Butte Landfill in Corvallis after police removed between 4,000 to 7,000 tons of debris, but her arms and legs were never found.
