PORTLAND, Ore. (KATU) — Protesters in downtown Portland made their concerns loud and clear as postal workers rallied before marching to Pioneer Square is part of a nationwide movement on Sunday.
“We’re here to let people know that public mail is not for sale, and that we do not want to be privatized, and the public shouldn’t want us to be privatized as well,” said Theresa Dunas, a letter carrier.
So far, President Trump has not announced any specific plans to privatize the USPS, but that is not easing concerns from postal workers and the possibility of major cuts…
