Crews knock down NE Portland warehouse fire started by pile of clothes

PORTLAND, Ore. ( KOIN ) — A two-alarm fire in a large Northeast Portland warehouse prompted response from emergency crews early Sunday morning.

At around 3 a.m., Portland Fire & Rescue crews responded to the area of Northeast Airport Way and 162nd on reports of the warehouse on fire.

When they arrived on scene, they found large amounts of smoke and upgraded the fire to second-alarm.
