Nitrous oxide cases spike in Oregon; Gresham couple temporarily paralyzed

PORTLAND, Ore. — Health officials are warning about a spike in dangerous incidents involving nitrous oxide, including a Gresham couple temporarily paralyzed after misusing the gas.

Vito Oliveri and his fiancée, Emily Shuford, once enjoyed traveling and outdoor adventures. Now, both use walkers to move around their Gresham home.
