WASHINGTON COUNTY, Ore. — Nearly four decades after Deborah Atrops was found strangled in the trunk of her abandoned car, her estranged husband has been convicted of her murder.
A Washington County jury found Robert Atrops guilty of second-degree murder on Thursday. He’s scheduled to be sentenced on May 20.
