One critically hurt in Troutdale house fire

TROUTDALE, Ore. (KOIN) — One person was critically hurt when fire swept through a Troutdale house early Saturday evening.

The fire at 1838 SW Hensley was reported around 6:30 p.m. Two people were in the home at the time of the fire that began upstairs. About a dozen fire units responded to the scene and needed a lot of water to battle the blaze that badly damaged the house.

One person was able to get out but the other was not. Gresham Fire crews rushed in and found the person, who was then rushed to the hospital by ambulance.
