More sunshine and even warmer Thursday

PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) – It’s a beautiful Wednesday out there! We’re seeing sunny skies with early evening temperatures in the low to mid 70s for the metro area.

We’ll be even warmer tomorrow; upper 70s are on tap for Portland as we pick up a light easterly flow through the Gorge. The North Coast will be in the mid to upper 60s.

We’ve warmed up and dried out our weekend forecast because models are sending the cut-off low even farther south, into central California. That means most of the rain stays south of us, with the best rain chances around Roseburg and to the south. Eugene might get a few light sprinkles, but only trace amounts are expected. It’s possible Portland gets a sprinkle on Sunday, but I’d plan on mostly cloudy and mainly dry. We’ll keep temperatures in the 60s through the weekend…
