Troutdale man accused of stolen vehicle operation after 15 motorcycles found on property

PORTLAND, Ore. ( KOIN ) — A Troutdale man was arrested and accused of running a stolen vehicle operation after 15 motorcycles were discovered at his home, authorities said.

On Friday, Michael G. Falk, 42, was indicted by a Multnomah County Grand Jury on multiple charges, including possessing stolen vehicles, among others, the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office said.

The investigation began on April 8 when a sheriff’s deputy pulled over a Harley Davidson motorcycle that did not have a license plate displayed, officials said. The bike, which did not have a Vehicle Identification Number, was later seized by the deputy on suspicion of it being stolen.

The rider was connected to a home in the 500 block of SE 18th St. in Troutdale, a location where the deputy had previously arrested Falk “and had observed an unusually high number of motorcycles on the residential property,” the sheriff’s office said in a press release.

The motorcycle was confirmed to be stolen after a VIN inspection by the collaborating Portland Police Bureau. A search warrant was obtained and executed on April 17…
