Vancouver woman caring for mom with Alzheimer’s faces amputation after crash

VANCOUVER, Wash. — The family of a Vancouver woman seriously injured in a car crash last month is speaking out again as she remains hospitalized and may lose a limb due to her injuries.

“Her right leg never really was able to regain blood flow, and she lost a pulse in her leg,” said Dean Baker, Jessica White’s younger brother.

White was driving southbound around 11:15 a.m. near the intersection of Northeast 162nd Avenue and 7th Street when the driver of a Subaru Impreza traveling northbound lost control due to speed and jumped the median, according to Vancouver police…
