Washington man claims $2 million Mega Millions lottery prize

The winner of a $2 million Mega Millions lottery prize in Washington is a man from Camas in Clark County, according to a May 12 press release from Washington’s Lottery.

The man, who a spokesperson said did not want to be named, matched five white balls in the April 22 drawing of the newly updated Mega Millions game but did not hit the jackpot. Because he had a 2X multiplier attached to his ticket, his $1 million prize was doubled to $2 million.
