When officers arrived at the scene of the crash, they found Erik Mario Moya screaming in pain.
While trying to determine the man’s injuries, Washington State Trooper Anthony Ziegenfuss noted that Moya had glassy, bloodshot eyes, slurred speech and a smell of intoxicants on his breath, according to a probable cause affidavit.
The 23-year-old Moya, driving a Mercedes, had been traveling the wrong way on State Route 14 in Camas late Monday and crashed head-on into a Buick driven by 18-year-old Michael O’Brien, killing O’Brien and injuring two passengers in the Buick, the Washington State Patrol reported…
