WATCH: private company hired to clear homeless camp maces activist at Sandy River Delta

TROUTDALE, Ore. (KATU) — The Oregon Department of State Lands (DSL) is spending about $350k on security and hazmat crews to clean up highly established homeless camps in the Sandy River Delta forest, also known as “Thousand Acres.”

Video provided to KATU shows one of those clean up crews spraying an activist with bear mace. The incident took place just before 9 a.m. on Tuesday.

A spokesperson for DSL says they are “deeply troubled” by the video…
