A series of armed robberies at a North Central neighborhood apartment complex led to the arrest of two suspects. The first incident occurred this past Sunday, when at around 10:50 pm, a victim was confronted by four individuals, one brandishing a handgun. According to the City of Gresham, personal belongings, including keys, jewelry, and a hoodie, were taken from the victim before the suspects made their escape.
Officers who responded established a perimeter and started a search with a K9 unit. However, during the search, an unrelated shooting pulled their attention away, a statement from the Gresham Police indicated, as per the City of Gresham. The second incident, occurring just over two hours later at the same apartment complex, involved a male victim who reported being ambushed by two armed males after being lured by two females via Instagram. Police noted that one of the male suspects was wearing a “distinctive brand hoodie” taken from the first robbery victim.
