PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — The two victims in a double homicide that occurred in Battle Ground earlier this week have been identified by authorities.
Tiffany Vela and Spencer Jones, both 37 years old and residents of Battle Ground, were identified as the two people found dead on Tuesday, the Clark County Medical Examiner’s Office said. Both victims’ cause of death was listed as “multiple sharp force injuries.” Officials said both of the victims’ next of kin have been notified of their deaths.
FBI addresses mass shooting plan arrest in WA
On Wednesday, the Battle Ground Police Department said 40-year-old Evario “Junior” Vela was the suspect in both homicides. He was hospitalized with critical injuries after being found in the same home as the victims, inside a residence on Northeast 2nd Avenue, police said. He remains in the hospital and his current condition is unknown, officials said.
