Vancouver students claim grand prize in ‘Plant the Moon Challenge’

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Students from Skyview High School in Vancouver claimed the top prize in their category in a global science competition.

Students Casey Flinn, Sofia Gomez Almazan and Olivia Countney earned the grand prize in the ‘Plant the Moon Challenge’ after studying how worms can help grow plants with medicinal properties in lunar soil.
