‘Pop pop pop’: Sherwood officer involved in shooting

SHERWOOD, Ore. (KOIN) — Gunfire involving a Sherwood police officer erupted Sunday afternoon not far from the Langers Entertainment Center, bringing a heavy police presence to the area and an hours-long investigation now being led by the Washington County Major Crimes Team.

The shooting at 21900 SW Langer Farms Parkway happened around 4:20 p.m., officials said. The details of what happened, who fired and what led up to the shooting have not been disclosed. But Sherwood police said the “suspect is in custody.”
