PORTLAND, OR – Even though fireworks were banned in Portland back in 2022, thousands of illegal fireworks reports poured in on July 4th.
Portland Fire & Rescue took to social media to report that the online fireworks reporting system logged at least 3,000 reports. Nearly 400 came in during the first hour after sunset.
