PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A body was found in the Willamette River near the Broadway Bridge early Saturday afternoon, the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office said.
The 911 call about the body was made around 11:30 a.m. Less than an hour later, the sheriff’s River Patrol recovered the body and transferred it to the Medical Examiner’s Office.

The identity of the person along with how that person died will be determined by the medical examiner, officials said.
