Driver dead, two others hospitalized after three-car crash on Highway 30

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A driver is dead and two others were hospitalized after a three-vehicle crash on a Columbia County highway Wednesday afternoon.

Just before 4 p.m., Oregon State Police troopers responded to reports of the crash on Highway 30 near milepost 39.

Authorities said early investigation found a Chevrolet Cruze was traveling east on the highway when it crossed into the opposite lane “for an unknown reason.”
