Vancouver, Clark County in talks to collaborate on city’s potential annexation

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Clark County has entered talks about a potential Vancouver annexation that could make the city one of the largest in Washington.

At Clark County Council’s Wednesday work session, city officials presented county leaders with further details on how the change would impact the local governments — both of which are facing budget deficits.

Vancouver City Council discussed four different scenarios for absorbing other portions of the urban growth area in March.
