PORTLAND, Ore. — August 1, 2025 — Certified B Corp Hopworks Brewery announced today that it will close its Vancouver, Washington, brewpub after service on Saturday, August 9, as part of a strategic plan to revitalize its original Powell Boulevard flagship in Portland.
The decision comes at a time of renewed focus for the family-owned brewery, which is expanding its distribution and investing in its flagship Portland location with a fresh menu and lively entertainment to maintain the same welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere it’s known for.
“Powell is the hub where Hopworks got its start, and it’s still where the brewing magic happens,” said Christian Ettinger, founder of Hopworks Brewery. “By pulling everything back to the mothership, we can devote more energy to our guests and this space, fill even more glasses with sustainably brewed beer, and continue to uphold our B Corp commitment to our people, our planet and our community.”
Guests visiting Hopworks on Powell will discover an array of new offerings, including a freshly expanded pizza menu, a new live entertainment stage featuring local musicians and performers, trivia and other in-pub events. The brewpub continues to be a go-to destination for families, with a welcoming play area, kid-friendly menu options, and a warm, welcoming dining experience rooted in the community…
