PORTLAND, Ore. — Illegal street racing events involving more than 100 vehicles each occurred across Portland early Sunday morning despite a 10-hour police enforcement mission aimed at preventing them, the Portland Police Bureau (PPB) reported.
The enforcement operation, which began Saturday afternoon and concluded at midnight, resulted in 29 traffic stops, six vehicle tows, two arrests and four citations, according to a police press release.
