A dart attack that could have been fatal ended with a prison sentence of five years and 10 months Monday.
Joseph Naes used a slingshot to fire the 6-inch-long dart on June 17, 2024, at another man on the East 162nd Avenue light rail platform, according to a probable cause affidavit filed in the case. Naes recognized the man from an interaction the week before on the same platform, the affidavit said.
