Driver Dies After Crashing Into Parked Car in Troutdale

TROUTDALE, Ore. — A driver was killed Saturday evening after crashing into a parked vehicle in a residential driveway, according to the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies said the collision occurred around 7:40 p.m. near the 2700 block of SE Troutdale Road, when the driver’s vehicle veered off the road and struck a parked car that was occupied at the time.

Driver Pronounced Dead at Scene

Authorities confirmed the driver, whose name has not yet been released pending notification of family, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The parked vehicle, though occupied, did not result in injuries to those inside. Officials said the occupants were evaluated at the scene and released.

Investigation Underway
