Stevie Nicks launched her 2025 tour on Wednesday night at the Moda Center in Portland, Oregon. The tour’s original start date of August 8th in Brooklyn, New York (at Barclays Center), was delayed after Stevie fell in a Pennsylvania hotel two months ago, fracturing her shoulder.
Following a new set opener (a cover of Buddy Holly’s “Not Fade Away”), Stevie explained to the crowd that she had slipped on a rug in a “rehearsal hotel in Pennsylvania” and “flew through the air like an airplane,” falling hard on her right side and breaking bones. Despite a long recovery and still experiencing pain in her arm, Stevie said she was happy to be performing again.
Stevie delivered familiar solo hits and Fleetwood Mac favorites, like “If Anyone Falls,” “Dreams,” and “Gypsy.” Then, Stevie affirmed her massively successful solo artist career by firing off the solo trifecta of “Wild Heart,” “Bella Donna” and “Stand Back.”…
