Teen victim identified in fatal North Portland shooting

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – Authorities have identified the victim of a shooting in North Portland early Tuesday morning.

Alexander Montie-Lopez, 16, died of homicide by gunshot wound following reports of gunfire in the St. Johns neighborhood around 2:30 a.m., according to the medical examiner.

DOJ says Oregon judge should recuse himself from National Guard proceedings

Police responded to N Central Street and found Montie-Lopez dead at the scene. One person was also detained at the scene, but officers said no arrests have been made as of Thursday.
