TIMELINE: Atmospheric river bringing stormy conditions across Pacific Northwest

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Get ready for a stormy weekend as an atmospheric river arrives in the Pacific Northwest, bringing soaking rain, strong winds and potential coastal and urban flooding.

Parts of the Willamette Valley could see up to 2 inches of rain accumulation from the storm, while the Oregon Coast could see between 3 to 5 inches of rain.

Winds will be up to 45 mph in the Willamette Valley, with Saturday likely the windiest.
