PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Police were called to Vancouver’s Hudson’s Bay High School on Wednesday after officials said a gun was found in a student’s backpack.
The incident unfolded at around noon, when Hudson’s Bay administration said they received a report from a community member that a student may have brought a gun to the school.
After calling police and their district safety office for additional support, the school was put into a “hold response,” keeping staff and students in one designated area.
