Two Vancouver health care clinics will shut down later this fall

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — More Southwest Washington health care clinics are set to close later this year.

As first reported by The Columbian, PeaceHealth will shutter Downtown Vancouver’s Esther Short Primary Care Clinic on Friday, Dec. 5.

“PeaceHealth remains committed to caring for our community,” Jim Murez, a spokesperson for the health care system, said in a statement. “While the Esther Short Primary Care Clinic location is closing, the services will continue and merge with PeaceHealth’s family medicine clinic in Camas. These changes are aimed at better meeting the evolving needs and expectations of our patients.”

The rehabilitation clinic on 222 NE Park Plaza Dr. will also cease operations on Nov. 21, according to PeaceHealth’s website. Both impacted clinics were among the four Clark County clinics that the company acquired from Providence Health & Services in late 2024…
