PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — One person was hospitalized after a fire at a Vancouver duplex late Thursday night, authorities said.
At 11:15 p.m., the Vancouver Fire Department said they responded to a duplex on Southeast Morgan Road, where crews found heavy smoke and fire coming from the front of the building.
Holes were cut into the roof of the building to release smoke while crews battled the blaze, and within 30 minutes, the fire was considered under control.
