Authorities have identified the victim of a recent shooting in Southeast Portland as 14-year-old Marik Roscoe. The incident happened on Sunday, November 16, 2025, in the Powellhurst-Gilbert Neighborhood. Roscoe’s family has been notified and has asked for privacy. The Medical Examiner reported that Roscoe died from a gunshot wound and ruled the death a homicide.
A 17-year-old and a 42-year-old man were also shot. Both are expected to survive. A 19-year-old man had minor injuries. Police arrived at the scene near Southeast 125th Avenue and Southeast Division Street at 6:34 a.m. They gave first aid before paramedics took the victims to local hospitals…
