Police Monitor Protest Near ICE Building in South Portland; No Arrests Reported

On Sunday evening, November 23, 2025, the Portland Police Bureau (PPB) monitored a protest near the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) building in the South Portland Neighborhood. No arrests were made at this event. The total number of arrests related to recent nightly protests in the South Waterfront area is now 68.

PPB stated that it does not take part in immigration enforcement. Its role is to maintain public safety and enforce state laws.
