Puyallup man critically injured after concrete block was thrown through windshield on I-705

TACOMA, Wash. — A 64-year-old Puyallup man is fighting for his life in intensive care after a concrete block crashed through his car windshield on Interstate 705 near downtown Tacoma Saturday night. Washington State Patrol (WSP) has arrested a 38-year-old Vancouver man in connection with the attack.

Trevor Wagoner is charged with attempted murder and first-degree assault after allegedly throwing a 10-inch concrete block at the vehicle around 10:30 p.m. on Nov. 22. The block struck the windshield and crushed the passenger’s face and skull, according to investigators. The victim was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center, where doctors say he remains in critical condition and requires surgery for severe injuries.
