Gresham man sentenced in gun, drug deal that led to fatal shooting

A Gresham man convicted of fatally shooting a 15-year-old boy during a drugs-and-gun deal was sentenced to 10 years in prison Thursday.

Kevin Rivas-Ramirez, 27, pleaded guilty to first-degree manslaughter and robbery for the Dec. 4, 2021, killing of Lowgunn Ivey inside an apartment building in Gresham.
