Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office Reveals Decrease in Crime Rates in #Wrapped2025 Recap

The Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) has taken to social media to unveil its own version of the popular year-end recap with a #Wrapped2025 post that breaks down the latest stats on public safety in the county. MCSO’s Planning and Research Unit provided the data, which indicates a dip in crime rates for the year.

As reported by MCSO’s page, from January 1 up to today, there were a total of 3,089 arrests made by the department’s deputies. The year-over-year comparison shows a notable reduction in person crimes, which decreased by 9%. Property crimes also saw a significant decline, plunging by 21.1%.
