Portland, OR – The National Weather Service in Portland has released rainfall totals from a 72-hour period spanning Sunday, December 7th through Wednesday, December 10th at 8 a.m., showing widespread heavy rain across much of northwest Oregon and southwest Washington.
According to the NWS map, many coastal and mountainous areas recorded 6 to 10 inches of rainfall, with localized amounts exceeding 12 inches in portions of the north Oregon Coast Range and the Cascade foothills.
