Smoke shop chain seeks city help after 14 burglaries this year, costing over $200K

PORTLAND, Ore. — A smoke shop chain is pleading with the City of Portland for help after yet another smash-and-grab burglary at one of their locations.

House of Pipes said their shops have been burglarized 14 times this year, and the latest break-in happened Wednesday morning at their location on Hawthorne Boulevard in Southeast Portland.
