Man shot, killed by Vancouver police had served time for 1997 deadly stabbing

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – New details are coming to light after a deadly officer-involved shooting Sunday sparked a state investigation in Vancouver, Washington.

According to Vancouver police, the man they shot and killed by officers has been identified as 44-year-old Perry Sellars.
