Man sentenced for murdering mother of his children after Portland activist group posted bail

PORTLAND, Ore. (KPTV) – A Portland man was sentenced Wednesday to life in prison with the possibility of parole after pleading guilty to second-degree murder in the 2022 killing of the mother of his children. Prosecutors argued the killing happened after he was released on bail that a local bail fund helped post.

Mohamed Osman Adan, 36, pled guilty on Tuesday, Dec. 30 to second-degree murder along with several other charges in connection with the death of 36-year-old Racheal Angel Abraham, the mother of his children.

Adan was sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole after serving 25 years. He has already served three years in prison…
