PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – An investigation is underway after a police officer fired a gun inside a Vancouver Police Department precinct in early December, authorities announced Tuesday.
The agency said an officer notified their chain of command of the “negligent discharge” at the West Precinct on Dec. 8. The report prompted an internal investigation, and detectives are still working to gather details.
