2 boys accused in shooting death of Portland convenience store worker arrested in Vancouver

VANCOUVER, Wash. (KPTV) – A 12-year-old and 15-year-old have been arrested in Vancouver in connection to a deadly shooting at a Southeast Portland convenience store in December.

On Dec. 9, 33-year-old Santi Ram Rai was shot and killed while working at a convenience store on SE 139th St in Portland’s Hazelwood neighborhood.

The Portland Police Bureau says investigators identified two suspects during the investigation who were living in Vancouver, Wash.

PPB detectives, along with Vancouver and Clark County law enforcement, then arrested two boys on Wednesday, Jan. 14, near NE 112th Ave and NE 49th St in Vancouver…
